Assisted Living has been designing communities based on thorough research regarding the care of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. This research shows that Alzheimer’s residents thrive and remain more independent in a smaller, more intimate home environment. At AlzCare we offer consistent care in a setting which looks and feels like a cozy home in a lovely neighborhood. Fully licensed and certified by the state of Texas, our residence for your loved one is a wonderful care alternative to in Alzheimer’s or related dementia care.
AlzCare employees receive twice the training required by the State of Texas. AlzCare is one of the few care-providers in the United States that has received training in and is practicing a therapeutic approach to Alzheimer’s care called Person-Centered Care. This method is designed to enhance dignity and foster independence. This approach provides the foundation for all the care our residents receive and is highlighted by the engagement programs we provide for our residents. In addition to our care staff, we have a staff of Recreation assistants and Best Friends that ensure unique one-on-one engagement, as well as interaction in a group setting.
