Barton House is a small assisted living residence designed specifically for the care of seniors with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, and other age-related dementias. Our building emphasizes ease of movement in a comfortable, home-like environment. Each of our private resident rooms opens into a common area, helping to encourage involvement in our community. Our residents also have access to a fenced greenbelt outdoors, with walking paths, raised gardens, and outdoor seating areas.
We provide a well-rounded, individualized daily program that encourages resident participation in cognitive, physical and social activities. Our residents receive a unique meal plan consisting of 5 meals per day, nursing supervision, a staffing ratio that exceeds state requirements, and staff who are specially trained in Alzheimer's care.
At Barton House, we are helping families to solve one of the most difficult problems of our time: how to provide the best possible care and quality of life for those we love.
