In order to provide our residents with the best possible care, we have developed our community using the least intrusive model of care delivery available in the U.S. today. Examples of this model include residents and staff wearing name badges containing a personal infrared signal that allows our computer to track the movements of everyone throughout our community. Additionally, these badges act as a first alert. Resident apartments are outfitted with sensors, allowing us to monitor weight changes and movement, which helps us monitor sleep patterns. Facility grounds are also equipped with sensors to allow our residents unrestricted access to outdoor spaces. Family members and resident physicians can track care needs and service delivery through secure internet portals. We believe our residents deserve the best care we can provide in the most socially conscious manner.
