While Similar to other communities that serve persons with Alzheimer’s and or/dementia, Cedar Creek specializes in their care. All of our staff undergoes specialized training provided by the Alzheimer’s Association as well as rigorous training course provided by our Director of Wellness. In addition to our focused care, we also offer a secured acre of grounds; including walking paths, therapeutic gardens, a bird aviary, a dedicated activity building, and closed-circuit camera enabling us to monitor the grounds at all times without intruding on our residents’ personal freedoms. Furthermore we provide an extensive activity program specially designed for persons with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia, which engages them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually with activities from 9:00am until 7:00pm every day.
