Thank you for expressing interest in Karlton. We are a licensed 70-bed care center located in Orange County. Our facility has been designed for elderly persons requiring
assisted living due to Alzheimer's Disease or other related disorders. We offer a secure environment with two patios and walking paths for those who wander. The perimeter of our center is locked to provide personal freedom within our boundaries. Family owned and operated Karlton offers quality care and service. We invite you to come and tour our lovely facility. We handle all stages of Alzheimer's/Dementia and have a non-ambulatory status. Recognizing both personal decisions for a resident and their family every effort is made for a successful transition.
Karlton provides activity programs to our residents 7 days a week. In addition, we offer other programs such as: playing trivia, reminisce, aromatherapy, pet therapy, sing-alongs, daily exercises, and weekly professional entertainers. Every third Friday of the month we celebrate our resident's birthday. Our families are encouraged to participate in our holiday celebrations and annual events which are held for our residents, their families, and friends. We have a 4-hole putting green which our residents and visitors enjoy to the fullest. Also, our outdoor patios serve as a pleasant picnic atmosphere for our residents and families who enjoy spending their time outdoors.
Administrators/owners, Barbara and Jared Weiner believe in fostering a sense of community by having an "open door", and are able to interact daily with all of their residents and families. Experienced programs are designed to deliver dignity, compassion and love to our special clients. We have created a wonderful spacious environment allowing for safe wandering indoors as well as outdoors.
