Licensed as a specialty care
assisted living, The John McClure Snook Regional Center is a 30,500 sq. ft. community located in Daphne, Alabama, on 38 acres adjacent to Catherine Place
Assisted Living. The community is owned and operated by Mercy Medical and is Mercy's sixth residential community.
Mercy Medical conducted years of research that helped determine exactly what type of facility was needed for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The center's unique design and specialized activity program is the result of that research. The Snook Center's homelike atmosphere offers 16 private bedrooms in a pod-style setting. Each pod has its own living room/dining room and kitchen combination with free access to the promenade at the core of the building. This area features a shopscape equipped with a library, post office, nurse/physician office, beauty/barber shop and even an old-fashioned soda shoppe. Residents can enjoy walking in our secured courtyard or participating in the scheduled activities designed to meet individual needs. Mercy also offers support to the residents' families.
The John McClure Snook Regional Center is owned and operated by Mercy Medical, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.
